Simmons Bank Named One of the Best Places to Work in Arkansas - July 17, 2018
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Simmons Bank was recently named among 40 companies as one of the 2018 Best Places to Work in Arkansas. This annual program, now in its sixth year, was created by Arkansas Business and Best Companies Group.
The Best Places to Work in Arkansas survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize, and honor the best employers in Arkansas that are benefiting the state's economy, workforce and businesses.
The bank considers being a Great Place to Work one of its core strategic pillars and provides its 2,700 associates with numerous programs and benefits to support this effort. To help associates live their best lives, Simmons provides a multi-layered well-being program that goes beyond the traditional physical wellness program, covering emotional, personal and financial wellness in addition to physical wellness. Leadership development programs are also critical to Simmons’ success and are designed to fit the needs of everyone from the company’s emerging leaders to its most seasoned professionals. A two-part survey process was used to determine the Best Places to Work in Arkansas. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. This part of the process was worth approximately 25% of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. This part of the process was worth approximately 75% of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final rankings.
